Relocalizing II: Underwriter Information

Relocalizing II: Skill Swap (a how-to, do-it-yourself, new hobbies workshop day)
A Great Lakes BIONEERS Pre-Conference Event
Thursday, October 18, 2007, 1:00-5:00pm
Underwriter Information

ISLAND, NMEAC, Bay Bucks and Great Lakes Bioneers invite you to sponsor the first annual Community Skill Swap in Traverse City!

We have gathered folks with a knack, hobby, interest, skill, talent, job or sideline gig to share their experience and introduce their craft to the community. Some examples of workshops include: coffee roasting, bike repair, sock knitting, soap-making, drumming, fermented foods, cider brewing, saving native seeds, and bread baking.

Underwriters for this event will be publicly thanked, will have the opportunity to submit a 1/2 page (5” x 4”) ad in our program and will be included in our press releases, website and flyers (being printed now, so act fast). There is a projected minimum of 60 people attending this free event. As with all ISLAND events, the Relocalizing Skill Swap will attract people who care about building strong and vibrant communities.

The cost for this opportunity is $200, and we will gladly accept Bay Bucks for part or all of the payment. If you are interested in sponsoring this event or have any questions, please contact Brad Kik, co-director of ISLAND at brad@ARTmeetsEARTH.org or (231) 480-4515.

Thank you for your support of our community in Northwest Lower Michigan!
