"Unhappy Meals" by Michael Pollan

The New York Times Sunday Magazine had this great article by Michael Pollan, author of The Omnivor's Dillema and The Botany of Desire. He's proving himself as being at the forefront of how we think about and act towards our food - a hugely important issue because of the impact our food systems have on the environment, our economy, our health and our culture.

This article is not another standard attack on fast food restaurants or processed foods; it's a more thoughtful commentary on what Pollan describes as "nutritionalism," or as the byline to the article says, "how scientists have ruined the way we eat."

Long article, but you can read it online or print it from here.
