At the close of their recent West Coast tour, the touring van of local band Breathe Owl Breathe were stolen. The van was full of a wide collection of rare and unique instruments.
Last week, Bluestem Farm hosted a magical evening of music, food and silent films to help raise funds so that the Owls could replace their music gear. They have estimated that over $20,000 worth of equipment was stolen.

Just before the concert, the Begonia Charitable Foundation generously stepped forward to offer a $5,000 matching grant.
