The 2008 Parkside Fine Arts Festival presented by Parkside Arts Council is now accepting artists’ applications for the Sept. 13th Festival. Applications are available online at www.parksidearts.org or www.tributariesart.com.
Applications are being accepted in eleven fine art categories including Ceramic, Drawing/Graphics/Printing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Watercolor and Wood.. Entries are reviewed by a panel of regional jurors.
Deadline for artists to apply online is Saturday, August, 23, 2008. Artists can email tributaries@charter.net or call (231) 676-3299 for more information.
The 2008 Parkside Fine Arts Festival presented by Parkside Arts Council, will be held Sept. 13, from 10 – 4 pm at Murphy’s Lamplight Inn in Central Lake, MI. The outdoor arts event showcases a juried exhibition of outstanding fine art by local and regional artists.
The mission of the Parkside Arts Council is to encourage cultural enrichment in Antrim and Kalkaska Counties by promoting awareness, education and appreciation of the arts, and supporting those who do creative work.
