Join us on March 6th for a day long intensive introduction to the art and science of designing and building eco-friendly homes. This class is designed for those thinking about building or remodeling and interested in the many green and natural alternatives now available (what's the difference between "green" and "natural"? Come find out!).
Here's what to expect: an extended morning Q&A session with a panel of area experts in renewable energy, off-grid and on-grid living, home energy conservation, architecture, building science and systems, building your own home, contracting a green house and more. Lunch provided, followed by an introduction to pattern languages and other do-it-yourself design strategies, followed by an opportunity to discuss and design your house!
