ISLAND is honored to be invited to the Orion Grassroots Network. Orion Magazine has long been an inspiration to us, combining literate, thoughtful articles with photo essays and poetry. It's one of a very few magazines that I read cover to cover as soon as it arrives.

Well, island is great, and we're glad to have you folks in the Network. We're up to nearly 1,100 member groups now, including a new group in MI, Turtle Island Project, in Munising, MI. More about them here:
